Title: why will videos not play in ultimate jukebox or WMP ?

I had everything working then all of a sudden the video will noit play ? IThey will not play in WMP too? only audio ?  They are AVI files many thanks

What codec is the video in? Have you removed any "unneeded" software like a dvd application or something that may have removed a codec off the system?

That is definatley a codec problem. You could install the K-Lite Mega Codec pack, after which you should be good to go.

Hi its all a bit intermitten, one minute it plays then next min only audio and no video?
When i play in wmp it says getting codex and then it says got codex and then just plays the audio part ?

That automatic crap is junk ...... download a codec pack and install it.

Are you running WinXP?

Try K-Lite as mentioned or something like:
