Title: Looking for a seller in Philadelphia
Post by: bconner on February 08, 2009, 11:02:19 pm
A friend of mine likes Pac-Man, Pinball, and Electronic Darts.

He liked my collection and would like to get an item or 2 for himself.

I'm trying to find him a reliable and fair priced seller in the Philly area.

Thanks!

Bob

TNT Amusements has been selling to homeowners in the Philly area for a long time - but I would not consider them to be 'fair priced'. If money is not an issue, then they will have a good selection.

But I would just tell your friend to watch craigslist for Philadelphia 'collectibles'. You can even set up a RSS feed filtered for Arcade and/or Pinball.

TNT is most definitely NOT fair priced. I mean I've spoken with them and they seem like nice guys, but they have inflated prices that in my opinion take advantage of people who dont know any better.

TNT is good for parts, and often good for gutted cabs for projects. They're a retailer, so complete games will seem pricey to a do-it-yourself market like ours. Todd from TNT has given me great deals.

I'd also suggest watching Craigslist (there are some price dreamers there, too) and maybe post a Wanted To Buy on KLOV.

A member of Neo-Geo.com also recommended  "www.gamesgalorede.com. The shop is in Newport, Delaware, right off the 95 exit, about a half hour from Philly.".

Unfortunately my friend doesn't do internet. Thanks for the posts!
