Hello,
I have tried to search the net for a wooden hollow control panel box but was unsuccessful. I have all the pieces as far as buttons and controls but I need a nice looking control box (my woodworking skills are lacking). Anyone know of any good sites for this?
thanks

thanks. Do you know if the boxes sold there have hinges on them so they can swivel the top open?

No, they're just prefab like something from Ikea. You might be able to add one, though.

Unfortunately, they cannot be added, due to the design. That was one of my down points that I listed in my review under the Pros and Cons.

You can ask about that being in the design. Mameroom does do custom work for at least decent pricing. And what happened to Arcade R Us? Looks like maybe they're only doing full panels on ebay maybe?

Ahh thats the place that had the control panel stand I liked. But am I missing something?? The CP are priced pretty fair @ around $100 but the CP Stand is $134?? and its like super easy to make it looks like.
I do not know if when the time comes I will build the whole thing myself or use a few pre-fab kits bu there stand & CP would make the perfect start for my plans.

On the mameroom website, it appears as though there is no cut on the underside for the trackball. Am I seeing that correctly? I did notice on your review that there was no top cut for the trackball plate.
