Title: Perfect 360 and Sega Dreamcast. Help Please
Post by: jeff dunn on March 02, 2002, 12:14:20 am
Hello everyone, I have searched the archives and I can't find an answer to this one. I would like to hack a DC controller w/ a Perfect 360, but I can't figure out where to get the 5v needed. Does it have to be an external source or can i get it directly from the controller?

Also, I hear that DC gameports go bad often. Could this added 5v cause this gameport to go bad quicker? Is this Perfect 360 hack generally a bad idea for such a sensitive gameport?

Lastly, would you guys say the Perfect 360 is the controller for Street FIghter games like Capcom vs SNk 2? I don't notice clicking in the arcades so it's definitely not an microswitch setup.

Thanks a bunch,
Jeff
