I'm using mala as my fe and I'm trying to configure znes. I've pretty much got it set up (except for being able to exit out of znes with more than one button), however my u360 is acting like a 4 way stick as opposed to an 8 way.
What do I need to do to configure znes or any other non mame emulator to use the u360 in correct configuration?
I also saw something in mala about a hot key app but it said it didn't find it. Would this app allow me to use two buttons to exit out of a non mame emulator? If so, where can I get the app?

Anyone?
So far I've had the best luck with this front end but this will be a major snag:(

I think this is what you're looking for - http://www.autohotkey.com/ (http://www.autohotkey.com/)
As for the u360, are you using the LEDBlinky 3.7.4 beta?
-
Yes I'm using the beta.
I played around with the hotkey option in mala but it appears that it has a hard wired shift key already in place, I'm guessing because the U360's are USB and not keyboard based might be why I'm having difficulty. I might need to try some kind of joytokey program.

Yes I'm using the beta.
There is a bug in the beta when setting the u360 for non-mame emulators.

Doh!!!!
So normally the u360 would be auto configured to an 8 way stick automatically?

The u360 map loaded is based on the primary control designated for the game (or emulator default) - use the Controls Editor to set this up. 8-way is used when no primary control is defined. But as I said, this is not currently working in the beta. Fix should be ready soon.
