Title: K7000 New Problem, Picture Flipped (Upside down and mirrored)

Well I finally got around to pulling a tube from a tv and using it with the cabinet's neckboard and chassis and was luckily very successful.  Unfortunately, The picture appears to be flipped to where the picture is upside-down and even if the tube were turned 180 degrees (thinking i put it in upside down, i tried turning my head and noticed this) the image would be mirrored.  Other than that the picture is excellent, so I think its just a setting on the main board? :dunno but i couldn't have a clue.  Any ideas?

Also, the game is Mortal Kombat 2 if that helps, and as I said, its a K7000 chassis.

You put the yoke on backwards.

he means the wires are reversed ( polarity)
and likely just the vert

hmm, well it put it on the only way it fits  :dunno
since the one pin is offset by itself, i assumed i couldn't mess it up.  I guess pull the connector and swap some pins then?
like i said, the tube is from a tv so I guess the tv's chassis board could have been built for it to be like it, but they did both use the same tube model number (zenith 1101)

That's an odd one then, if your yoke connector is in one piece.  Tube doesn't matter, it's the yoke that directs the electron beam to draw the picture.  But swapping the connectors around should solve your problem.  Just make sure you get the right combination, otherwise you'll blow it up.

In other words... only swap V with V and H with H otherwise you WILL damage the chassis.

yep! that solved it, cut the connector in half and swapped the red and blue and it works perfect now!!!
