Have to agree, this looks a little too much. Let me see what I can do. What is the rest of your art like?

One thing I did on my instruction cards was to leave off the joystick. The buttons, to me, were the only thing my guests would be confused about. It's just too bad we take the time to make these things and NO ONE bothers to read the instructions.

Exactly.  People always ask a million questions and figure it out by trial and error anyway.

If the four sub pics are x.1, x.2, x.3, & x.4, I like 2.2, 1.3 and 2.4.  1.4 is almost as good as 2.4, though.  2.3 looks out of scale to the other sub pics, and far busier too, IMO.  Of course, things might be different full scale.

Either 1.1 or 2.1 will work whatever other sub pics you use. ;D

I agree with u_rebelscum. I like the second one, but use the Metal Slug pic from the first one.

I think it's just the word "Menu". You might try it different. The changing colors throws it off, in my opinion.

Here it is
with new "menu"

Much better, though I'd make it the same vertical size as the Neo Geo label and the same distance from the top.
