Mala doesn't run whatever selection I have made when I quit the program. I'm running Windows XP in a shell and when I quit Mala with explorer.exe in the command the screen just goes to my desktop. No Explorer. I can get there using control-alt-delete and then running explorer or shutdown or standby from the taskbar menu either on run program or just the shutdown button. Any thoughts?

you dont have a tick in use alternative shutdown method do you
-
no. nothing checked in alternative shutdown.
-
what are you using to shell mala
-
I'm not great with computers so I'm not sure if I'm answering this right. But, I'm using Windows XP pro and I made a shell in the registry.
-
try shelling with instantsheller (googleit) should fix the problem
-
Should I start over, or can I just have instant sheller override what I did? I used the wiki and liked my results. I also heard of a few people having instant sheller force a reinstall of Windows, which would suck. I'm fine with Mala now. I rarely need to have it shut down because I have Windows set to go to standby. I just wanted to see if there was an easy fix for Mala not running anything at close.
-
I am not sure if instantsheller will clash with your already done registry changes but I have used instantsheller for over 3 years in 7 cabs and never had a problem, so I will leave that decision to you
cheers

Probably a mistake on my part for assuming this, but Mala exits fine on esc, just not exiting using the mouse. It's not in a cab yet, but when it is I won't have a mouse so I'm good to go. Thanks for the help.

Yep,
If you exit via mouse it assumed you are doing it for maintenance purposes and won't won't to shut down windows too.
