I've been setting up my MAME cabinet and after installing a new video card and monitor I came across this odd effect which occurs on certain solid colors in many newer games. It's most noticeable in the speed settings of the attached screen shot - it's like a flickering checkerboard effect. It seems to me like this is some sort of vsync or refresh rate problem. I know it can't be the monitor as this was print-screened and thus was captured directly from the video card. If it helps at all, I'm using an HP LP2065 LCD (please don't crucify me for that) on an nVidia 8600 GT. Does anyone know how I could go about attempting to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Can you highlight the problem? Because that looks normal to me.

Hm... I probably can't convey the problem properly without a video :-\. It's almost as if the solid colors are shimmering, if that makes any sense. I'll see what I can do for a vid.
