Title: lcd topgun question. almost got it right.

windows XP pro sp2
Mame 32 v0.078

I thought I had it down pat until I loaded up PC version of big buck hunter.
I could only get a deer about 50% of time.
Cross Hairs are very shaky.

I have been reading other posts. There is quite a few of them.
I see IR interference listed a few times.

My PC set up is close to my beer fridge. also I have a cast iron wood stove
pumping out MEGA HEAT . Maybe 4 feet behind me.

I get this room 90 to 100 deg. Fahrenheit. ( I pump the heat to the rest of the house)

could this be working against me?

From what I've read, certainly that could be the issue.
