Hi Loadman,
I have Mala shelled into Windows XP and I'm running a script called HyperAttract that Brian_Hoffman created for me. Essentially what it does is exit out of any emulator after a period of inactivity, and back to the Mala frontend, allowing the monitor to go into sleep mode. I don't believe there's a feature in Mala like this yet. However, there's a problem with the timer running this type of script as a service. You can view the thread in the software forum here for details:

I noticed that there was a feature to load on Mala exit, so I was curious if you could implement a feature that would allow the loading of .exe's on Mala startup in the next version of Mala? Hopefully this wouldn't be too troublesome and I'd kindly donate for the feature.
Thanks for the great frontend!

Couldn't you write a simple batch file that loaded this program then mala?
or possibly you could try loading this as a sudo encoder? options- controller - encoder

Hey Shan, I am just curious what you load during Mala setup that required a plug-in verses putting that item in the windows startup folder.
Thanks

I have mala set as my shell, not explorer. So the windows startup folder doesn't work.
