Title: A good way to weigh it down
Post by: dreamakuma on January 24, 2009, 11:22:55 am
I have this cabaret cabinet that I fitted with a dreamcast, an X-arcade dual, and a 17" LCD. Well during heavy sessions of SF3/MVC2/CVS2 it rocks quite a bit, I was wondering if anyone knew a good idea to weigh it down. It's VERY light and made of some very thin board. Also any good idea's to add some support.

No, it isn't on levelers either.  can't weigh more than 50lbs alone 70lbs loaded. I'll put it on a level surface and it'll feel stable, do a super move on street fighter 3 and the whole cab will rock. I don't want to see what it'll be like if TWO people play.

bolt on a 2x4 to the back.
have 2x4 length ways on the floor.

Levelers might help it some.
