Title: Type of screws on back of DK panel
Post by: audihere on January 21, 2009, 12:40:30 pm
I noticed there are screw holes on the back of my Donkey Kong black wood panel in the upper corners.  What is the callout for the screws used here.  I saw them in the manual, but it didn't list the specs for them.  Thanks.

on the back of my Donkey Kong black wood panel

Can you be a little more descriptive?
(or maybe I'm just misunderstanding where)

Back door area?
Control panel area?
Monitor area?

Upper left and right corners of the large black wooden cover that goes on the back side of the cabinet.  I looked at the manual again and it actually looks like part # 01-01-05 is the door itself, but is pointing to basically right where the left screw is.  The right screw is in the same position mirrored over on the other side.  The holes look original, but maybe they aren't?

I thought that might be what you were looking at in the manual.

Does your back door have a working lock?

I highly doubt those screw holes are factory, typically someone will screw the back door on if they don't have a lock or the key to actually lock the back door in place.

Yes, I have a tubular cam lock (that I had to drill), and that other beast of a lock also (which I've just been bending the latch upwards to bypass).  What is that other larger lock for?

Pictures would really simplify this conversation.
