Title: Samsung SyncMaster 710n "Not Optimal Resolution" error.

Hy..when i plug in my monitor,it says "not optimum mode, recommended: 1280x1024 60Hz".
i installed drivers and tried to change the resolution.
i searched about it from Google,but no help.

Did it work beforehand or is this a new monitor for you? It might be your current resolution is too low/high for it to properly display. If you have another display that works you can change your display settings to 1280x1024 60hz on there and save it, then try booting up with this monitor.

EDIT: Sorry missed the part where you said you tried to change the resolution. Have you tried another PC on this same monitor?

This will also come up if you are giving it 72Hz - so go to the all modes tab and check you are on a 60Hz mode.
