From today all I-PAC 2 boards shipped will be the new FS32 version.
Differences from the older version are:
32 inputs (was 28)
Supports Full Speed USB (still also supports PS/2).
Slightly longer and narrower board.
User-upgradeable firmware.
All the usual I-PAC features are still there of course such as auto-switch interface, self-test LED, intelligent shift, retention of codes after power off, host or interactive configuration, always-on pass-through.
Incidentally, this new board lays to rest the issue of key-press limit in USB because there is no limit at all when using full-speed USB. Not that this was ever a real issue with the older board, but now its not even a discussion subject.
