Title: Whats the minium number of buttons needed to work freebox ?
Post by: tteettuk on January 19, 2009, 03:01:57 pm
Hi all
 still
trying to get the info sorted!
I have made replica Ami Continentals before (as the pic) and thought it would be fun to make a replica cabinet and fit a  touch screen where the mech used to go or just a monitor and use the buttons on the front of the jukebox to select tracks? At present using a vinyl mechinsm it needs 10 buttons for the numbers? How many would i need to control freebox ? (just to select music and control volume)? I can plug a keyboard in and mouse to set it up) I wanted the basic i.e select a track using numbers (like an original)
Any where can you get the buttons from in the uk, I used push to make from maplins on my replicas before and where do the buttons connect to

Minimum number of buttons is 0 if you use a touchscreen... If you want a button based jukebox freebox currently isn't the software you will want to use.
