Everything has been running just fine. Now when using the left and right arrow to switch between emulators, MALA will just crash and tell me to view the mala.exe.log file.
I am using MALA 1.05, Windows XP, Pentium 4 2.9GHz, 2GB RAM, 300GB HD.
Here are the last 3 entries in the log file.
2009/01/17 12:39:05.39 Error: Object Class: TTimer, Object Function: DisplayMarquee, Exception Class: EListError, Exception Message: List index out of bounds (265)

Is it possible the snaps for one of your other emulators is in the wrong format? Do these emulators which crash even have snaps? What happens if you remove the snaps. Just wondering.

this was happening to me, I changed my layouts and then it was fine.

Mala crashes EVERY time I scroll to the GBA emulator (which worked perfectly fine before). I have pointed Mala to the GBA emulator, rom path and screenshot path again, but that didn't help.
I removed all of my roms and screenshots and told Mala to refresh the game list, but it still crashes. My layout hasn't changed, it's basically the same layout for all emulators, except the picture of the machine and the name.
Any other ideas?

After removing my GBA layout, opening it in the mala editor and saving it again. I then put it back into the Mala directory and it seems to have fixed the GBA problem. After further research I see that MAME is now causing it to crash.
I've removed/saved the mame layout info, like with the GBA, but it didn't fix this problem. I can get to the MAME list, but if I try to switch to a different emulator, mala crashes.

What Mame version?

Mame32, version 0.120. I've used this just fine for about a month now.
Again, it only crashes when switching between emulators, I can right click and pick mame from the list and play games without any issues.

I have made a few changes since the code to catch some errors without crashing. I hope it will fix this for you
