I just got an old JAMMA cabinet and the bottom corners of the side panels are kind of swollen and frayed, they are about 1/2 inch wider than normal. The owner had is sitting on just the wood, no feet and slid it around a lot it looks like. is there any way to fix tihis besides building new side panels?

If it's not too bad, you could remove the damaged wood and rebuild the corner using bondo. I did that with one of the corners of my Dynamo cabinet and it turned out pretty nice. You could also buy some Happ cabinet corner protectors to cover up the messed up corners.
