I've hit a wall on adding games to my favorites sections, I need a couple more high-score oriented games that allow save-states (so that way the high score sticks). I have most of the big ones, but just thought I'd throw this up here and would see if anybody has any games that come to mind....

You shouldnt have to save state to keep your hi score. I dont recall a game that didnt remember mine?

Hmmm... he asked for high-scored oriented games, and everyone is listing games that allow continues or have "endings". Aren't high-score oriented more the "infinite" style games like Robotron, Defender, PacMan, etc?

Mario Bros. The original one.

Golden Tee. I get higher and higher scores all the time! ;D

Well, you can't really say Pac-Man, then. It has a definite end and a maximum score.

Technicality. It doesn't end the way Assault ends (ie: After 15 minutes of continues)
