For anyone who's interested in the Midway/Williams (NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat, etc...) style cab - I just uploaded the Adobe Acrobat plans at http://www.pcreliability.com/vectoraster/ (http://www.pcreliability.com/vectoraster/) (you gotta click on "Plans").
I also detailed the "Official VR Control Panel" option dimensions - works really good if you're looking enough space for everything including Oscar's Push/Pull.

I'll be the first thanks for posting the plans and sharing(yet another great cab for me to learn from). You did an amazing job at documenting what you did. Even I can follow it. What size monitor do you have in there (25")? Looks great.

Thanks to both of you for your compliments! That's an excellent question shieldwolf because the original MK cabinet that I took the design from held the usual 25" monitor. But it is, in fact, a 27" Wells Gardner D9200 that is used in this design. The plans include comprehensive monitor mounting instructions & dimensions to make the going easier. -VR-

Looks great! Love the city scape idea.

Cool info. Thanks!

That's my favorite cabinet in the whole wide world and someone finally posted the plans! You may wanna submit this as news if someone hasn't already! This is a true keeper. Thanks amillion. I may never get the chance to build one of my own, but thanks for making it possible for anyone else to.
How hard would it be to get dimensions for the oversized control panel for those things? I dont' like it as much, but it may come in handy around here.

Mine too!

Check the pdf - there's a few options. But the CP box is totally customizable depending on preferences. If there are any good ideas for an oversized panel let me know and I'll put it in as another option. -VR-

Well the reason I mention an oversized panel is because they're sems to be a standard one for a few games out there. Can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know they make one...
It's the cabinet I have in my Kill Instinct machine and my brother's MK3 machine, though. I would have taken the measurements myself except my brother has them both up near Dallas.
(By the way, anybody interested in buying a KI board in a KI2 machine?)

How much are you asking?
I'm looking for any cabs I can get my hands on...
(On a budget unfortunately)...
I probably can't afford yours, but I'd still like to know what you want for it.

Hey VR,
