This ELO ET1525L LCD touchscreen I just bought on ebay has a different looking power connector on the chassis. Has anyone come across this? Is it hard to wire it directly to the 12v power? Here's the ebay pic:

And the ebay auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360120409721&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360120409721&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123)

That plug is common on lcd screens - I had a couple of compaq/hp 15"s that took it that I binned a year or so ago because the panels were stuffed. I would expect there are lots like that now so you should find a PSU quite easily.
Failing that there are some new ones on ebay from hong kong for almost nothing. I have just heard it called the 4 pin power connector but there may be another name for it. Seems the polarity is a standard tho since I have used a power supply off an old laptop on a monitor just fine.

Ok, the connector is called a Snap and Lock - mouser appear to sell it which should see you right, but it looks like they use the same image for all the parts in the range so pay attention if you choose to order one. Not sure of the polarity and I cannot find one to test right now..
