I have an old IPAC 4 that's never been used before now. I just wired it up and everything seems to work perfectly except the P3 and P4 joysticks. None of the directions register for either joystick. Not in games, not in Notepad, not in the WinIPAC utility. I've got continuity on all the wires/grounds. And I don't see any jumpers to select between 2p and 4p on the board. Any idea what the problem might be? I emailed Andy like five minutes ago, but I'm impatient. ;D

Do the P3 and P4 buttons all work?
My first suspicion would be a ground issue on the joysticks, although you said you checked that...

I have an issue with my IPAC4 where player 3 and 4 do not work occasionally. Unplugging the ipac from the pc and plugging it back in solves the issue. I have the older version too. Could be the same for you or a wiring issue. Hasn't been frequent enough yet to send it back to Andy to look at. Trying unplugging/plugging and see what happens.
