What is there to "side" with ??

The fact that you don't like Jimmy Buffet ??

There was no actual context of the altercation to side with according to that article.
Heck, they don't even know which song was on at the time, so how could they possibly pin it down to that it was a Jimmy Buffet song or that that really had anything to do with it.

EDIT:More to the story (http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2009/jan/06/hip-hop-vs-beach-music-led-soldiers-death-ex-wife-/)

Side with the murderer?

Shut up unless you have something intelligent to say.

"The initial disagreement was about music being played on the jukebox," said Rae, adding that it was a Jimmy Buffet song.

"Richard Lopez and two other individuals put on the song, but two other individuals did not agree with it."

Did you read the article?

Did you read what I wrote?

That initial article is about worthless for facts. Full of filler just to make a headline.
One guy mentioned some razzing amongst them over a song, but when things actually came to blows outside.....well, that's just not there.
Did you read the article? (articles)

I have Jimmy Buffet on my jukebox.... but for whatever reason I can't remember the name of the song.

I must admit that I also like Jimmy Buffet..... of course I am from the South and yes we do have lots of alcoholic women (sometimes I miss being a bachelor) Even so, I have enough sense to detest Lynard Skynard.

But you have to realize the murderer was playing Kayne West, so he didn't exactly have the high ground for choice of music.  If I had to choose between Jimmy Buffet and Kayne West....I'd probably take a sledge hammer to the jukebox.

These guys could have been huge Jimmy Buffet fans and they were mad that the victim wanted to play a Buffet song without paying him any royalties.

Somehow I don't see real Buffet fans being the violent type.  I see them being the ones getting the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- kicked out of them.  By pretty much anyone.
