I've read here some posts about this jap balltop sticks which said that they feature very short travel which makes them very precisse. However, Ultimarc's website has these models (I think they're the same) and describes them as long travel, kinda happ's super joystick. Now, do these Ultimarc's balltop sticks feature real japanese precise and quick movement with short travel or are they more like the sticks on Naomi's cabinets which resemble more to happ's long travel sticks?

The J-Stik is very much like the sticks on the Naomi cabinets but with the easy 4-8 way switch. The travel is fairly long. You can tweak them though by careful bending of the switch actuators and you can also reduce the physical travel by flipping over the 4-8 way restrictor plate, because the square cutout in this plate has a chamfer on it.
