I've got the fever for some retro computing and this system was what I grew up learning Basic on. Working or not, either way is fine as it will be displayed in my little console and computer "museum" in my basement. If it's working, I might try to play a few games of Hammurabi or Dancing Demon which would be a bonus.

At this rate, you're going to need to add a wing onto your museum. ;)

I'm just finishing a port of Hammurabi. I worked from the original 1978 BASIC code. It took longer than I thought it would (I thought it'd take an hour or two). I missed that game for reason. The original resource management game. ;D

I think I have one of these at my mothers. I would put a .015% probability of it. I haven't seen it in probably 8 or 9 years, but I know exactly where it is at if it still lives. What I'm saying is, you still have a chance.

Hammurabi was the best! It was a lot of fun to determine how to allocate everything in ancient Egypt.
McCoy, if you can wrestle it away from your mom, I'm interested. In the computer, not your mom. :o

Does UPS scan the boxes? :o

Here's a Hammurabi site where you can play the game. Pretty fun stuff back in 1980.

Well bad news, my mother didn't make the trip. In other news, the computer is gone, but I did find the original owners manual, another book that Radio Shack sold with it, and an old Apple II game called Presidential Race or something like that. If you would like those, I am looking for some basic Happs controllers or buttons for my students.
