Can anyone tell me how to boot into Vista without a login screen?
Thanks.

Hmmm...

Looks like you can do it but then you can't share it on the network. =[
-
please keep us updated with what you figure out
I'm going to need to do this soon too!

Check this out Bender...

If it works, that seems like a solution in order to keep in on the domain.

i vlited my copy of vista 64, and I believe there was a no-login option on there somewhere.
my setup boots right to the desktop (no login) and i've still got network access

By all means do tell if you figure it out.

start - RUN
(if it is not there, hit the Windows key and the R key at the same time)
type in the following
control userpasswords2
uncheck the box that says " users must enter a username and password to log on"
click OK
type in the username and password (leave it blank if there isnt one) of the user you want to automatically log in as.

Well that was simple, thanks!
Works Great!!!!!!

Are you familiar with using nlite / vlite to strip down windows XP / Vista to make it boot faster and take up less disc space? Check this thread to learn about it:

It's about nlite (which is for XP). vlite is the same sort of thing except it's for vista.
