Post by: Mamezilla on January 01, 2009, 10:35:02 pm
Hello,
I'm looking to buy an Oscar Controls joystick mounting plate to use with one of their restrictors.  I'm in Quebec city, province of Quebec, Canada.
If you have one and would like to sell it, please PM me.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to all !

RandyT's mounting plates are a very reasonable alternative; in fact I believe they are better in that they do not have bolt heads on the top.  The first run of OSCAR mounting plates had bolt heads, later runs did not.  I have 4 of these installed in my cabinet and they are perfect for sticks that at meant to be mounted on metal panels.

Thanks for the input jcoleman.  The Oscar controls mounting plate is needed because I want to use an Oacar controls restrictor with it.  I don't believe the one made by RandyT at GGG have the holes on it for that restrictor.  I cannot check since there is no picture of RandyT's on his website.

That's correct, there are no holes in Randy's mounting plates.  What kind of restriction are you going for?  There are a number of solutions out there for restriction these days, both physical and virtual.

You could go to a machine shop and get one made, you can probably even do it yourself.  Post some pics up of the parts in question I'm sure many people could give you advice on how to do it.
