hi
would this be a suitable touchscreen monitor to build a jukebox around?

yes, I have that exact monitor (from the same seller)
the only downside is that it is awkward to get into the very edges of the screen with a finger because of the depth of the bezel,
on the whole a very clear screen and fairly sensetive touchscreen (thinking about grabbing a couple more off him)

cheers for the info - i've gone ahead and ordered one

what software you using with these monitors thought you could only use usb connection and not serial or do all touch screens work?
-
I am using freebox among many other bits of software
the touchscreen just replaces the mouse, so anything that can be run with only the mouse and left click can be run from the touchscreen
usb or serial makes no difference apart from the option you choose on the driver installation
