I know, I know... why fix something that isn't broken. I finished my cab 2 years ago and its worked great. Its been disconnected from the internet the entire time, no need.
Well I moved and now want to use it as a jukebox too, so I hook it to an ethernet cable to download itunes etc. to get it going.
Windows update pops up, 43 critical updates, SP3 yadda yadda... I figure, why not (mistake)
So its working fine on the SP3 update, it restarts.. again everything fine. I then do the next round of updates, one of which is for ATI, now no picture.
I hooked up my backup lcd and I cant figure this out for the life of me, I tried activating the second monitor like I remember doing but no-go. System restore, no go.
I have a radion 9550 with the dongle to goto component out, that then goes into my JVC 27" AV-27530. I'm running windows xp pro on a P4 system.
Anyone with any help... please!

Rollback the video drivers, or completely uninstall them and re-install what came with the card.

Thanks for your suggestion, it wouldn't allow me to roll it back so I completely uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the original ones from 05ish. Same exact issue but now GameEx comes up with an error log screen saying it couldnt launch for whatever reason.

actually that worked, I just kept going back to older and older drivers untill like 6.5 from 2006 was installed and magically it worked... go figure ;)
Guess that goes to show you if its not broken dont fix it lol
