HI
I have an old konami simpsons machine, the control panel has been modified at some point and its screw hold are Hexaganol. I was told these were tamper proof screw holes.
Any idea where I can get screw drivers for these?

Can you post a picture? When you say hex, I think Allen wrench. Could it be a sercurity torx screw?

Hex or Torx? I have some Torx bits.
Of course you can use Torx bits to remove hex, in a pinch.

They are tamper proof hex as they have a small pole in the middle to stop an alen key going in. I have found some bits on ebay.

Harbor Freight has a largeish "security bit set" that they frequently put on sale for like $8. It has Various non-security bits (philips, posidrive, slot, regular torx, regular hex) as well as numerous "security" bits (security torx, security hex, various variations on philips, etc.). It should have what you need. It had everything I've ever needed to take apart all the Konami cabinets I own, at least.

lots of hardware stores carry security bit sets...or if you are in a hurry, you can use a dremel with a cut of disk, and just turn it into a standard slotted screw.

I bought mine from Sears for about the same price. Probably not as big a selection as Harbor Freight's, but I still haven't found a cabinet that had a bolt or screw that I didn't have from the kit.

Have you seen that drill bit bolt/screw removal kit? One side of the bit basically bores out whatever bolt or screw you're trying to remove. Flip the bit around and the bit has an reversed screw pattern that screws down into the bore then removes the screw/bolt. I've been thinking of trying that, especially for the counter sunk stuff.
