Hi all!
Newbie here with a cabinet question... Ok, so I picked up a Lethal Enforcers cabinet (converted from a SF2 cab), but it doesn't turn on. The cab and interior components are all intact (or so it seems) and in what I could consider to be excellent condition (just a little dusty).
Now, I plug the thing in and nothing happens. No fans run, no lights go on, monitor doesn't turn on, game doesn't boot up, nothing. The cabinet didn't have a plug when I bought it, but there was a weird 3-prong hookup behind it, just like on a PC. I assumed a plug for a PC power supply would work, so that's what I used. There's also a strange switch looking thing next to the hookup that says "5AMP"- it seems more like a kill switch, since I tried pushing and moving it every way and nothing happened. Doesn't feel like a regular switch.
So, I don't know if anyone has any idea what I should do next, or what kind of trouble shooting I should be attempting, coz I have NO clue. :-\ Any help would be appreciated here!
Is there a power switch anywhere inside the cab? Shouldn't the fan on the power supply kick in once it's plugged in? Does it require a specific type of plug? Idea and suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks!

Perhaps the switch is bad.
Only way to know is to take the wires from the plug side & twist them to the ones going to the other side of the switch.....while its unplugged.
Then close your eyes & plug it in.
If you die do not blame me, thats just what I did on my machine when the switch went out.

Are you sure there isn't a hole one the top of the cab with a toggle switch in it? Feel around for it. It was three months till I realized my first cab had one - the guy I bought it from never used the switch, just plugged and unplugged...
The 5 amp thing is probably a fuse.

You know what, as soon as I read what you said about a hole on the top, I remembered seeing a round hole on the side with a button-looking type thing in it... I wondered what that was at the time, but now I know..... :banghead:
I feel stupid now, but it works like a charm! THANK YOU!!!

Ha. Don't feel bad. I'm sure if you look through my earliest posts you'll find a couple like this. Give it 6 months and you'll be helping the new people too.
