Logitech does not support for XP or Win2000. You can connect via gameport, but not com port. So the spinner is useless. I wonder if anyone has mad or found a driver to make it work?
thanks.

I've tried for a long time to get mine to work in XP, but no luck. The logitech site says they no longer support it, but there are some new drivers/patches for download, but nothing for XP. If anyone develops or finds an XP driver I'd be interested, too. :'(

i have not tried that hard yet because i still use win98 on my cab and am considering upgrading my spinner..but...
In principle the serial connection is just like a mouse. I discovered this years ago first with the genius mouse driver...then I got is also to work in dos with the generic mousedriver that comes with advance mame...so some generic mouse driver might also work under xp...
another route would be hacking the ww and connect it to the guts of a mouse...if someone manages to do that with some ease...please share the info :-)

The base of the wingman warrier comes off with 5 screws. The spinner looks a lot like a mouse and the wires are easy to get at. The mouse hack idea might be the easiest way to go. I'm going to look into that when I have a "chance" ???.
