We'll come up with another one. Suggestions welcomed. Need to be able to set up a permanent channel, channel owner, registered nicks, etc...

Use this:

irc://irc.foreverchat.net

Channel: #byoac, of course. I've been using ForeverChat for years.  It's where Tombstones ended up.

We had a server crash and apologize for any inconvenience - No Data was lost - funeral services will be at 9am on Sunday - The server has been replaced but is being upgraded - Scifi will be restored and re-compiled and hopefully be online by Saturday night. However...I wouldn't mind moving to a more populated network. I'm on Gamesurge regularly. Has chanserv, nickserv, etc. Large (25000+ user, 5th largest), stable network and well administered.

saint, my suggestion is to use irc.skysnolimit-irc.net

Very reliable and run by people who know what they are doing.
I´ve been chatting there for some years in satellite tv stuff.

Would love to help out in setting up a permanent channel for byoac.

Oh, just tried irc.scifi-fans.net and found out its working ok and #byoac is alive.. :)
