Title: model 2 emu on mala
Post by: G1zm0 on December 11, 2008, 06:20:33 am
hi, ive been using modler 2 and want to use it on mala, but dont know if it will work.
with model2 you have to unload rom to use a new one, how s this done if its in a cab and not using mouse?

also the rom names display as the zip file is named? eg instead of daytona usa its dayton as the zip is dayton.zip,

when the emu loads up it shows the taskbar at the bottom, to and quit doesnt quit the game, mouse is required??

anyone set this up so it looks ok?

and ive got a arcadevga card, can i get this emu to look ok and not blocky?

It works just fine.  Use the command line:
Code: [Select]
emulator.exe %rom%
The game list isn't huge, so you can use the gamelist editor to change each game's list name.

The alternative is to combine it with the mame games as listed in the thread stickied at the top. This method uses the mame.xml to give you the title instead of using the rom name:

I don't have the problem that you describe.  I use closemul.exe as the executable so that it will close out m2 using ESC.  There's no reason to unload the rom before you can load another unless m2 is staying in memory and not closing out.  Closemul.exe will solve this problem for you.
