Title: Problem with artwork...
Post by: apoptygma on December 04, 2008, 05:01:44 pm
I've downloaded packs of snes and genesis snapshots for use in mala, but the files are all named as hashes not rom names, do i configure mala to look for hashes or do I rename them?

you may need to try this utility:
http://www.waste.org/~winkles/fuzzyRename/

if the art files are similarly named as the rom files are, otherwise there may be a dat file that you can load into romcenter that'll bulk rename things for you.

It's ok, did a bit of digging and found "No-intro Image Renamer" and "RomCentre" which in combination do the trick flawlessly

have you tried the screenshots from here?

http://localarcade.com/screenshotarchive/screenshots.htm

They use the goodtools naming standard.
