Title: game ex help
Post by: dcninj4 on December 03, 2008, 01:59:22 pm
I use game ex but I cant figure out what the key command is to add a game to favorites

can i do it from the game select menu? if so, what is the key config command called so I can map it in the setup program to my arcade stick...

also... is there any way to just disable the favorites menu from showing all together, yet keep the trackball list enabled?

I know i'm asking a lot, just trying to figure out things so I can set game ex to the shell and finish the software side of my machine..

i would go to the game ex site but since I switched to linux on my netbook... firefox crashes when I go to that site for  some reason.

Once you select a game, you should have an option to add it to your favorites.  It should list options like:

-Play Game
-Add to favorites (remove from favorites if it's already added)
-etc

Not sure on the other item.  I haven't tried that and am at work so I can't try it here.  I'm sure Headkaze or Brian will be along soon to help though.

If you dont have flat menus enabled you should have "add to favorates" on the same screen it shows play this game and view artwork.

Yup... It's as easy as a push of a button.

Make sure if you are adding favorites with certain emualtors that you have it turned on per emulator as it is an option for each emu.
