Howdy-
I had my 1st party where friends were left to run rampant on my not-quite-done cabinet (running MaLa 1.0.4.5).
At one point, they were somehow running MAME32, meaning they had exited MaLa & launched MAME32 from a Windows desktop icon. They couldn't recall exactly how they'd done it...grrr...
They must've gotten into the right-click menu in MaLa & chosen "Exit". Let's hope that they didn't also hit "Remove Game From List" at some point too... :\
Which leads me to my question:
I know this is in the settings somewhere, but I can't find it. How do I disable the pop-up menu that comes up when right-clicking in MaLa? And once I've disabled it, how do *I* get into that menu when I need to do some administration?
Is it the "Disable exit function in GUI" in the MaLa Exit tab under GUI? I'm scared to check that box lest I can't get my pop-up menu back! :-[
Thank you,
-Jason

Disable Exit - Is (by default) you press ESC and the exit menu pops up
To disable mouse click you need to sustitue it for a keystroke (in controller- keyboard- options) there is a checkbox
HE HE, You can always get it back (worst case by editing mala.ini which holds the settings.
Enjoy

Perfect! The quick & easy response in a timely fashion. Typical Loadman performance...
With my Frankenpanel, it was difficult to find an unused key, but DEL hasn't been assigned to anything on the panel, so I set it up to have DEL bring up the options. Sweet.
(I learend this the hard way--ctrl & alt are the default P1 button 1 & 2, and I had P3 button 4 mapped to DEL. During some 4-player X-Men button-mashing, boy, was I surprised to see the Windows Task Manager pop up!)
Thanks,
-Jason
