Title: Painting the cabinet side?
Post by: foleykoontz on December 02, 2008, 06:37:38 pm
Hey I just recently got an old Golden Tee that I'm maming and adding a Dreamcast in also. Our side artwork is going to be based off of http://fatpossum.com/images-php/covers/blackkeys-chulahoma-cvr.jpg (http://fatpossum.com/images-php/covers/blackkeys-chulahoma-cvr.jpg) and we were thinking of painting it (Unless there's a place that can do a ful side art for cabinets). Anyways we were looking at paints and I realized I have no idea what kind to get. Are there any suggestions on what to get like accrylic or latex? Anybody have any kind of examples of sides they have painted?

Hi,

I think you will find that why you have no replies to your thread is because this topic has been done to death.

Please use the search function.

I don't know much about the paint types you have over there but if you want hard wearing then use an oil based paint or a water based enamel. Make sure you put it on REAL smooth because you artwork will show every imperfection.

Cheers.
