im using mame 0.126u4 and ive accquired different roms for bubble bobble, but cant get it to run.
it doesnt show up in mame. when i do an audit it say something about shared with parent rom, ive used everyfile there is to do with bubble bobble.
also the metal slugs dont show up either but they run ok when launched from cmd line.
what do i need to do to do to get to work? and the rest that inncorrect

You're using mameUI's audit? It's not the best. Clrmamepro (http://www.clrmame.com/) is a lot better at knowing what's missing, and can fix it if you have the ROMs. What's the exact error?
However, bubble bobble has four ROMs (actually PALs, but just think "ROM") that are not dumped yet in the parent set. Which set (of the eight) are you trying to play? Have you looked at MAWS list of ROMs needed for each game, and which set (aka zip file) they are in.
Do any of the neogeo games show? If not, I bet your neogeo bios set is not complete, but has all the ROMs mslug needs to run with your mame bios setting.

i have only put ms 1-5 on , and none show but play when selected, i couldt get any to work at 1st till i got another bios file with the jap bios in it.
ive downloaded about 5 files for bubble bobble, i tryed to play bublbobl, bootleg with 68705, bublbob1,bublbobr and same with mode select.
i will give clrmamepro a go

Yup, sounds like you don't have all the regions. You can play the regions you do have, but you can't play the ones you don't have, so it's not complete, and mameUI treats as such.
