Just launched Mala again after quite a hiatus and it seems to be crashing once I get into the gamelist. Here's the log that generates from launch to crash...

Then the Mala has encountered a problem and needs to close box pops up. Viewing more information about the error gives me this:

Redownloaded the newest version and reinstalled with no effect on this error.
Any suggestions?

No, seems to work fine with the startup video disabled. Not really necessary for me, but is there a workaround/fix?

Well it does not happen to me and I have not heard of it being reported before, so I can't offer a fix with the details I have so far.
Can you try another vid?

What Codec are you using?
Same crash with a different video.
As far as I know, I'm using the XVID codec. My video previews when in MALA work and games will start and run as expected. Seems to just be a hiccup with the startup video. I know codecs messed with MALA in early development and XVID seemed to be the only one it would play nice with, but I can't imagine it would play previews fine and not the startup video.
Then again, I'm no expert on this, that's why I posted here!
Anywho, if you've got some suggestions, let me know and I'll try them out. THANKS!

Usemouse is set to 0....didn't see any other mention of he mouse in mala.ini, so I;m assuming no?

It's the codec for sure. I downloaded the latest from www.xvidmovies.com/codec/ and it started working instantly.

just a note on this - I had a problem with all videos not starting....until the codec was installed. As for the startup video that is something else....sorry...
