Title: Wells Gardner 7000 Series Monitors
Post by: collywobbles007 on November 23, 2008, 01:15:13 pm
Has anyone bought one of these for Happ Controls? I'm planning on ordering this one http://www.happcontrols.com/monitors/49054800.htm (http://www.happcontrols.com/monitors/49054800.htm). It says it doesn't need an Isolation Transformer, but I'm not sure if comes supplied with a power cable?

Thanks for any help!

The D7700 series does NOT come with a power cord or a manual.

You need to purchase Wells-Gardner part number 038A7893-000 AC Power Adapter ($10) in order to plug this monitor into your cabinet's existing monitor power connector. Here is a picture of this adapter:

Thanks Ken. I'm building a cocktail cab from scratch with a PC inside. Is there any way to connect it to the PC power supply or the mains?

Ten bucks?  I'll start making those myself and make millions.

You have to connect it to mains power.  Your PC power supply just outputs DC.

Use power cord # 038A7953-000 ($12) from the Wells-Gardner parts dept. Here's a picture of it:

Ah, great - thanks. I'm in the UK, but I take it that since the monitor has an input voltage range of 90v-264v I can just lob off the US plug and put a UK one on in its place?

With this statement I'm adding a new entry to the "READ THIS FIRST" post.  It should have been in there from the beginning.
