Title: Is De Blob worth this?

Best Buy has it right now for $39.99.  Worth the price? Anybody played it?

It's made by a Dutch team so it definitely worth it  :laugh: Seriously though, it looks like a fun game.

There is a copy of De-Blog for the pc that is floating around the net (freeware).

Does not have as many bells and whistles as the Wii retails version, but is a great pc game ( you could try before you shell out your hard earned cash )

I have it, and you can sink a lot of time into it.
It's a little steep at $39.99 but it's not out of the question.  It's certainly accessible.  If you like playing around in a sandbox, you'll enjoy this.

At $39.99 I would have bought it, but I missed the deal. Trying it out this weekend, and while I like it FAR better than the PC game, the repetitive gameplay (in early levels at least) leaves me a little cold to it - don't know if I'll care much to follow it through for long.

Still, it is an interesting use of the Wiimotes, and the controllers respond well. A solid, and certainly, different third party offering that's for sure.
