Title: FS: Asteroids Deluxe, central florida

Arcade deluxe, in good condition cosmetically.
I moved it upstairs about 4 months ago and the monitor stopped working. Not sure why, never tried trouble shooting the problem aside from looking at the fuses which seem all good.
I'll sell it for $200, I honestly don't think it's a huge problem but even if you put $100 into it you can always resale it for allot more.

Wow. Thats a REALLY nice condition machine for that price. If I wasn't in central Illinois, id buy it.  You may get more traffic though if you refer to it as ASTEROIDS Deluxe considering thats what it is... :D

My fiance lives in the Oviedo area is that pretty close to you?  What type of price range are you looking for on the asteroids ?

Hi Jetto,
No Prob. :)

I talked to my friend and he said wouldn't be able to come down from up north to pick it up. But he did say that the monitor issue is most likely the solder joints on something called the Monitor Deflection board?  and that its a 10 minute fix and is a common problem with the Asteroids Deluxe's. In fact that was the first thing he asked about when I told him about the game.  If I had the $200.00 I'd buy it but I'm already trying to fund a M.A.M.E. machine.

I'll have to look into that, unfortunately my soldiering skills are not up to par. I would end up fusing the whole board together before I landed a correct solder :D

Did you ever check those solder connections?



BTW, I got my MAME machine working but it still needs trim and finish work. I will post picks in my build thread soon
