Title: Mala problem at start-up

I am using the latest beta of Mala with Win 2000.  I put a shortcut into the Start-up file to launch Mala when I turn on the computer.  It boots up fine but I cannot do anything in the menu.  I have to right-click on my mouse first then I get Mala working.  Is this a focus issue?  I tried the plug-in and it didn't work.  Should I have Mala start through it's own option screens instead of the shortcut?

If you are trying to run it in a cab and hiding windows I would use instant sheller, this should solve your problem

another think to try

Something else that is startring up is stealing focus.

You can try setting 10000 ot higher as the 'splash time' in options to see if that helps

It is in gui-display-misc
