Title: Connecting Perfect 360 to encoder
Post by: T-Bob on March 05, 2002, 02:41:53 pm
I'm thinking about getting a couple of the Happs Perfect 360 joysticks that are on sale at the moment, but is it possible to connect them (easily) to an encoder board?

Do they have the regular 4 connections a microswitched stick has, and if not, how can they be connected? (Bear in mind my electronics skills are low). Thanks for the help.

Bob, The 360 stick have 6 connectors, UP,DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT.  Plus a 5v in and ground.  If you are using an IPAC, you can use the 5v on that to supply power to the 360, and a ground from the IPAC.  If I am wrong on this, someone please correct me.
