I was cruising eBay a few weekends ago and came across a set of F2K stencils from ClassicArcades ... couple of hours left and no bids. I put in a max bid of $1.20 above the minimum and ended up winning.
Received the stencils today and they appear to have been sized for a standard cabinet, not a widebody.
Ugh.
I've got an email into Jeff to see what we can do to resolve this.

I've paid more and gotten a whole lot less when it comes to stencils. :banghead: Always frustrating.

I figure that my worst case is that I split the front stencils apart and try to come close to the original placement. The sides are off a bit, but I can center them and live with it.
At the end of the day, I got the stencils for $60 and I'm definitely going to keep the machine (I'm going to get the CPR playfield, backglass and plastics set and have spent a ton of time finding and cleaning up spare playfield parts -- I'll never get that money back from a sale), so it's not a terrible outcome.
But, with the day I've had, I was really happy to see the Canada Post truck pull up with a delivery for me that wasn't business and not charge me taxes or duty. Then I was crestfallen when I pulled out the stencils and saw that they were obviously too small.
It would be nice if he could do something -- it was a pretty obvious cockup.

You'll love CPR stuff. I saw one of those backglasses on Kevin's wall and it was just fantastic. The F2K especially just pops right off the glass in color depth. The plastics are money too.

I heard back -- he's going to redo them based on my measurements. :applaud:
