I was advised to repost in this section.
I recently acquired a MVC2 machine from an arcade auction, and of course the picture isn't quite right. The whole picture is horizontally to far to the left, and is curving off screen by a small margin. You can clearly see a space on the right side, about half inch size, where the picture should be. Anyways, I downloaded the manual, and it doesn't mention anything about a horizontal shift control. I thought maybe I would have to adjust that on the East/West board, but from what I have read, it seems as though the East/West is for a wavy picture. Mine isn't wavy, just too far to one side. Any help would be great.

horizontal shift is called phase on the polo and its rv407 on the remote board
you may need to adjust rv404 horizontal frequency as well, also on the remote board

Wierd. Why would they name the Vertical shift, "Shift" and the Horizontal knob that does the same thing "Phase"? Maybe there is some technical reason, but it seems not very user friendly.
Got the adjustment done, it's all centered now.
