Title: Nestopia v1.40 gettin rid of "Loading msg," and cross- hairs to not show
Post by: mrclean on November 12, 2008, 12:24:57 am
Using Nestopia v. 1.40 to me seems to have the best colors in terms of emulation in comparison to many other NES emulators I have tried.., but how do i get that little text on the bottom left to dissapear when i load a rom it says : "Loading/gamex.nes" in red and it's pretty large,

also how do i get rid of the cross-hairs in say duck hunt etc. thanks

& lastly to have this running the way i want it, it's minor and very quick, but takes away when launching..how do i get rid of the mouse arrow to not show up when the emulator is launched ?

never mind i fixed this i didn't see prefrences: "confirm exit" i unchecked that box and thats 1 fix off my list also I know i can remap the alt-x key to be esc, but it still asking me "are you sure you want to exit" how do i get it to exit just using "esc" ?

It's not a perfect solution, but if you were sure that you didn't need the mouse at all, you could run a piece of software named "nomousy" before you launched Nestopia.  It's worked well for me for other emulators.

My guess is that you will need the crosshairs for some games, so this may not help.
