hello
I am ready to drill my new CP. Will be using U360's sticks.
Quick question: does the stick has to be installed in a specific orientation or it's in the programming that we define which side is up, down, left....etc
if it has to be mounted in a specific orientation, how do I know which side is up? (I looked at the stick and could not see any indication)
thanks!

I believe the pcb is label with something like top or front. It really doesn't matter how you mount it as you can easily take the pcb off and just rotate it around, if you don't get it right the first time. To make sure though just plug it in with the usb cord and look under game controllers in windows control panel. You can see which way is up down etc.

I just got one and tested it before mounting it in my control panel. The USB connection was in the lower left corner when the joystick was oriented properly. This had the mounting plate longer in the left to right direction than the up and down. I needed it the other way, so I just unscrewed the PCB and rotated it.
I did not see any indicator on the board or mounting bracket, probably so you can rotate them to what fits your needs.
Hope this helps.

Thanks all
I decided to install my long handles and circular restrictors. Once the board removed to install the restrictor... there it was ... a small "top" is written on the board on the component side.
