Title: MadCatz Universal MC2 Racing Wheel assembly (dimensions and opinions)?

If I bought the MadCatz Universal racing wheel to use for XBox gaming would I be pleased?  Does it drive/feel like a real steering wheel? Is there something better I should be looking at?

Also, what are the height x width x depth dimensions of the MAdCatz Universal racing wheel for XBox if it is sitting on a table (ie: without extending the leg supports)?

18"W X 6.5"T X 8" D (Base only not including Wheel)

My Son likes it but I have never used it.

Is it possible to include the wheel in the height measurement?

10.75" from the table it is sitting on to the top of the wheel at it's highest. 13.5" from the bottom of the wheel to the back of the panel.
